4️⃣ EPFO Pension Amount Calculation

The Monthly Pension is calculated using this formula:
📌 (Pensionable Salary × Pensionable Service) / 70

  • Pensionable Salary = Average of last 60 months’ (5 years) salary
  • Pensionable Service = Total years contributed to EPF/EPS

Example:
👉 If your average salary = ₹15,000 & service = 20 years
👉 Pension = (15,000 × 20) / 70 = ₹4,285 per month
